Introduction:

MARK 1 Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to empowering the elderly community. To further this goal, the Foundation has launched a new project called the Quran Literacy Program to teach Quranic recitation and reading to elderly individuals who may have missed out on the opportunity to learn earlier in their lives.

Objectives:

The primary objective of the Quran Literacy Program is to provide elderly individuals with the opportunity to learn how to read and recite the Quran. This program aims to foster a deeper connection between the participants and their faith, while also improving their literacy and language skills. Additionally, the program seeks to create a supportive community of learners, where participants can socialize and connect with others who share their interests.

Program Structure:

The Quran Literacy Program will be taught by trained instructors who have extensive experience in teaching Quranic recitation and reading. The program will be conducted in small group sessions to ensure individualized attention and support for each participant. The program will consist of both theoretical and practical sessions, where participants will learn the basics of Arabic language and Quranic recitation.

Selection Criteria:

The Quran Literacy Program is designed for elderly individuals who may have missed the opportunity to learn how to read and recite the Quran earlier in their lives. To be eligible for the program, participants must meet the following criteria:

  1. The participant must be 50 years of age or older.
  2. The participant must have a desire to learn how to read and recite the Quran.
  3. The participant must be a resident of the local community.

Application Process:

To apply for the Quran Literacy Program, eligible individuals can contact the MARK 1 Foundation through their website or by phone. Upon receiving the application, the Foundation will review the information provided and assess the applicant’s eligibility for the program. Once the application has been approved, the selected participants will begin attending the Quran Literacy Program sessions.

Program Management:

The Quran Literacy Program will be managed by the MARK 1 Foundation, with the help of trained instructors and volunteers. The Foundation will monitor the progress of the program to ensure that it is achieving its objectives. Additionally, the Foundation will work closely with community leaders and stakeholders to identify eligible individuals who may benefit from the program.

Conclusion:

The Quran Literacy Program is an important initiative launched by the MARK 1 Foundation to provide elderly individuals with the opportunity to learn how to read and recite the Quran. Through this program, we hope to improve their literacy and language skills, foster a deeper connection with their faith, and create a supportive community of learners. We are committed to ensuring that the program is managed effectively and efficiently, and that it continues to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
